Tsuts’weye Network and Salmon Arm Economic Development Society partner to provide
business training workshops

The Tsuts’weye Network is pleased to partner with the Salmon Arm Economic Development Society to provide business training workshops to local female entrepreneurs. As part of the Tsuts’weye Network initiative, members of the Tsuts’weye program may attend these courses at absolutely no cost! The multi-day courses are valued at $100.00/per person and the single day courses are $25.00/per person.  This is a great opportunity to access valuable business training and skills.

There are three multi-day courses and two 1-day courses at the Salmon Arm Innovation Centre, Powered by SASCU, located at 220 Shuswap St NE in downtown Salmon Arm.

Multi-day business training course:

  • Business Training: Social Media, Thursdays from 5:30-8:30 pm, Jan 16, 23, 30 and February 6 – *** This course has already started but please check to see if there is still room for you to attend. REGISTER HERE.
  • Business Training: Online Payments, Thursdays from 5:30-8:30 pm, Feb 13, 20, 27 and March 6. REGISTER HERE.
  • Business Training: Networking in My Community, Thursday Mar 12 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Includes an optional day to showcase your business at Piccadilly Mall from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. REGISTER HERE.
One-day business training courses:
  • Online Graphics and Graphic Design – January 24th, 10:00 am – 12:30 pm. REGISTER HERE.
  • Blogging with Word Press – January 31st, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. REGISTER HERE.

Sicamous Networking Event – “Marketing Fundamentals”

New!! Applications are open on-line at www.lesdames.ca for BC women to obtain food and beverage scholarships to further careers in culinary, beverage, agriculture, aquaculture or hospitality fields. The 27-year-old local chapter has over $40,000 to give out this year. The deadline for applications is January 31, 2020.
