Women-led businesses are less likely to be incorporated compared to those led by men. Choosing a business structure is one of the most important decisions an entrepreneur can make as it impacts many things from how taxes are paid, how to distribute profits, how the company can pursue growth strategies and how it can access financing and support.

We are delighted to host a two-part workshop series this month in partnership with CPA Canada, BDC, McCarthy Tétrault, and Corporations Canada to highlight the opportunities that incorporation can unlock.

Join us on September 15th as we answer the question: “Why should I incorporate?” with experts in law, finance, accounting, and government. You will also have the opportunity to ask our experts any questions you may have during rotating breakout sessions.

On September 22nd we will be hosting a step-by-step walkthrough of incorporation processes and national resources that address the legal, financial, and practical aspects of the question: “How do I incorporate?”
