Message from Program Manager, Carmen Massey

Hi Tsuts’weye Network,

This week we are focusing on businesses reopening and providing you with the best resources to assist you with restarting your business. We hope you are all doing well as you open your doors to your customers. During this time of Covid, it has been inspiring to hear about women who are courageously opening new businesses, expanding existing businesses and creating new business ideas. If you have a few minutes, I encourage you to complete this anonymous online survey created by a local female entrepreneur gathering primary research to support her in the development of a new business idea.  Here’s a shout-out to all the businesses emerging, re-opening, and planning for the future ahead!

Tsuts’weye is committed to helping all women entrepreneurs whatever their background and whatever their industry.  As always, we encourage you to list your businesses on the Tsuts’weye Business Profile page and to join the Support Local BC site that has been set up for Shuswap businesses. Both of these tasks take minutes and will extend your online reach, which is critical at this time. Contact our Business support program for direct, free, one-on-one consulting support.  We also encourage you to investigate the Destination BC toolkit to assist with tourism messaging and marketing in accordance with the local health recommendations. Also please check out our business reopening resources below and at the bottom of the newsletter that will give you good information and resources on reopening your business.

Warm regards,
Carmen Massey
